F.O.R.E. was honored to receive a grant from the Lebanon County Kiwanis Club to produce the booklet “How to Explain Prisons and Jails to Children”. This booklet is targeted towards caregivers of children that have incarcerated parents. To obtain a copy of the booklet, individuals should email Donna Gathright. Topics discussed include how to handle communication between children and incarcerated parents, dealing with visits, and planning for successful reunification of families upon release.
